How to Add Motion Path to PowerPoint 2013 1

There has been lot of new features which has been added to Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. One of those is adding Motion path to the objects in PowerPoint 2013.

So what first thought comes into your mind is What is Motion Path feature in PowerPoint 2013 ? Answer is simple, it allows you to add Motions to various objects in your presentation. For example, you want to show moving of animals, cars, persons in the form of objects then you can surely do this by this feature of Microsoft PowerPoint 2013. Even you can perform simplest of motions tasks like you can emerging of your company logo during slide transitions etc.

Let us see how can we add Motion Path in your slide. For example sake, i am taking arrow & target example in which you have to present moving of arrow towards the target.

  • Start your PowerPoint 2013 and draw an arrow and target.

  • To add motion, click on the Object i.e arrow which you want to move. Now, Click on the Animations tab and then underneath it you will find Add Animation and then on More Motion Paths

  •  A window will come which will have lot of motion paths which are sufficient enough or perhaps more than enough to power your presentations. For this example, i have chosen straight line which will move towards right i.e. towards its target

  • Just select the path you want to have from the window as shown above. So what’s next? Well, your motion path is added and you can preview it under by clicking on the Preview button under Animations tab.

So you can obviously see that Office 2013 is loaded with lot of features most of which are very easy to use and implement in your presentations. I have tried to make you understand about this feature in brief rather than going too deep into it.
